The initiative “Generation.Africa” is a young multifaceted group of individuals from Africa and the diaspora who believe in what DotConnectAfrica is doing in giving Africa a digital identity on the web and moving the continent forward with a focus on the youth.
This is to encourage the youth to be involved in discussions that define and increase their common stake-holding in the development and evolution of the Internet and how the developments affect their daily lives through the benefits the internet provides.
As part of Generation.Africa volunteer, the youth will be involved in: discussing marketing and internet strategies; organizing events; networking with key figures in their country and other African countries; building and rallying support for the ‘Yes2dotafrica campaign’ within Africa.
To educate and subsequently increase the number of Africans who are present on the web space.
To be the leading initiative that provides internet literacy programs to the youths in Africa.
